Bailing out Wally World and Presidential Candidates

Ya know, bailing out wall street was a big mistake. It didn’t need to be done and it shouldn’t have been done. Furthermore, it’s not the American way. Wall street businesses should have had to do the same thing the average American had to do, either file bankruptcy or go out of business.

You can compare wall streets actions to a man cheating on his girlfriend. If she’s dumb enough to accept an apology and a dozen roses as the perfect act of contrition he’s going to go right back to cheating as he now knows what the cost of cheating is going to be. It’s something he can afford so he goes right back to his cheating ways, hopes not to get caught but is ready with another apology and more roses to beat the rap.

Why is that any different than what wall street did? Other than the fact we didn’t get the apology, the roses or even any prosecutions of those who were involved in cheating the American public and causing this economic meltdown. They learned the price of their behavior was for the govt to throw money at them and have acted accordingly. Don’t believe me? Take a look at the bonuses the damn fools are giving each other and tell me they learned their lesson. What we did was giving the cheater even more money to go cheat with. Lol, that’s the kind of lesson I want someone to teach me. ;)

Perhaps we should have done to wall street what we did to BP and made them responsible, both monetarily and physically for cleaning up the mess they made. In my mind we should be taxing the wall street businesses for at least half of the money we pay out in unemployment. It’s their fault, so why not do to them what we did to BP and make them pay until everyone is whole again?

Because congress is in wall streets pocket. I found the comment by the LA senator that the reason he was against a tax increase for the rich was after the increase he’d only have $400,000.00 to support his family. Poor baby. He should try selling that to the people living below the poverty line. Perhaps he’s been inhaling to much of the aroma of money from wall street that he lives in such a fantasy world.

Wally world has more in common with wall street, and in my opinion that’s what we should rename wall street, than it does with reality. Wally world didn’t learn a thing and is still handing out sky high bonuses and looking for more ways to stick it to the average American. Why is congress letting wally world get away with this?

It’s no wonder the American people don’t trust congress or wall street. Neither one lives in the same reality that the average American does. It’s time the average American puts and end to the BS and the hypocrisy in Washington and elects people who truly care about the country and the people of this country. All of the people, not just the rich.
